This new package offered by the 3D Adventure DMC travel agency combines the best of Dalmatia – a cycling tour with cultural and historical landmarks of the Imotski region over ten days, with a special focus on the three Imotski lakes, two rivers, Biokovo Nature Park and Dalmatia hinterland.
Forget everything you know about the blue coast and step into the mystical world of Imotska Zagora, where history and nature merge in a dramatic embrace. On electric and mountain bikes, we will conquer the viewpoints of the UNESCO Global Geopark Biokovo-Imotski Lakes, standing on the edge of monumental karst natural monuments – the Red and Blue Lakes. Feel the wind from the mountain slopes as you descend towards the hidden gems of Lokvičići and the mystical wetlands of Prološko Blato. As the sun begins to sink behind the rugged mountain peaks, we will gather around a table in an old stone tavern. With a glass of crisp, mineral Kujundžuša wine and the aroma of traditional peka, you will taste the pride of Imotski mothers – the sweet Imotski cake and rafioli, whose recipes are guarded like supreme family treasures. This tour is for those seeking the raw power of the wilderness and the warmth of genuine hospitality in an undiscovered corner of Central Dalmatia.
